New Wohler loudness app for iOS at IBC 2011

At IBC 2011, Wohler, known best for its in-rack audio and video monitoring products, is launching an iOS app that allows users to monitor, analyse, and demonstrate audio loudness levels, Wohler Loudness for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Buyers with an iPod Touch can use Loudness in conjunction with Wonler’s Pandora loudness monitor and analyser, which enables broadcasters and production and post houses to measure audio loudness against EBU R128, ITU BS.1770, and ITU BS.1771 standards in real time, for compliance. Updates to Pandora include options to capture, store and email loudness log files.

Users can also access a more comprehensive measurement of loudness metrics and support a more flexible configuration of the monitoring system.

The latest release of Pandora software is available as a free download in the iTunes App Store and will be on show at IBC 2011 in Amsterdam.
