Variations on a theme
Calrec, Featured, Social Media — By Kevin on March 1, 2012 08:30Ten years ago, if you’d have told us that we would be creating a Google Chrome browser theme just for fun, and that nearly 4,000 people would be using it daily to browse the web, and that one of those people would be blogging that it was one of his absolute favouritest audio and music based themes…well, we wouldn’t have believed it.
But that’s exactly what’s just happened. Our Emmy award-winning Technical Author Pete Walker created the theme in his spare time and it now has a five star rating. Of course, in his day job, Pete is a busy chap writing and maintaining all Calrec’s technical literature, and was also responsible for turning our Audio Primer blog into the weighty Audio Primer download (also available in hard copy from at all Calrec’s trade shows. Let us know in the comments box if you would like us to post a copy to you.)
Watch out for new Audio Primer posts in April, which we will be gathering together in a new volume of the Audio Primer as a companion to Volume One later in the year. In the meantime, get over to the Chrome webstore and download the theme. It’s the best theme you’ll never buy*.
*It’s free.
